It’s a Small World (But I Wouldn’t Want to Paint It) *
Why would someone blog about their ignorance? Good question.
But watching the March of Nations (or whatever it’s called) of the Olympics made me realize there are a lot of countries out there, several of which I’ve never heard of, including: Bhutan, Central African Republic (that was the best they could come up with? how about Generic Country?), Comoros, Dominica (not to be confused with the Dominican Republic, though I’m sure it happens every day), Lesotho (sounds like a Shakespear character), Palau and Tuvalu.
Is that just me?
