He should remember that the finely honed American sense of humour (thanks to the pioneering work of Canadian-born US comics Dan Akroyd, Michael J. Fox, John Candy, Jim Carey, and Jean Chretien) is a Canadian invention. And we might as well be invaded and occupied if we (Canadians) are going to be rude like the rest of the world.
