* I swear to blog the Bruner, the whole Bruner, and nothing but the Bruner, so help me golly-gosh! The rantings/ravings and other pointless blather found within these pages constitute the opinions of only this particular Bruner, no one else (such as my employer, persons identified within, yadda, yadda).

Disgusting! How dare u mock the Olympics like that, I agree that the logo is not impressive but dont make fun of the fact that the biggest event in the world might be here.
Let Them Have It!
I love the Olympics and the spirit that comes along with the Olypics but it just not worth having it in New York or any American city for that matter.
Why is the New York Mayor trying to get the Olympics?
It’s WAY too costly and everyone knows the cost outweights any kind of benefit. NYC tax payers can not afford to host the Olympics and can not afford to deal with the congestion.
In a time when Americans are seen as the bully and so dominating in the world, I say lets give the rest of the world the Olympics, lets give the rest of the world a chance to shine a little. We simply don’t need to shine as much. We have everything else. Besides the Olympics is a bad investment and it’s not a bill worth flipping for.
Maybe after about 20 or 30 years from now, we can consider hosting another Olympics in the U.S., after everyone else is done fighting for it.
Lets these other guys fight over a over inflated
bill that will bankrupt their economies!
