Bulgarian Disco to Close?
I hope it’s just an unfounded rumor, but talk is after Gogol Bordello’s lead singer and weekend DJ Eugene Hutz’s antics last Saturday at Mehanata (aka The Bulgarian Disco), the much loved Eastern Euro Soho hotspot may be closed and/or Eugene won’t be coming back to DJ anymore. I have no idea if it’s true and certainly hope not, but that’s the word on the street. Any confirmation appreciated.
Meanwhile, can’t wait for the Knitting Factory concert.
